Is Gold WhatsApp safe? Safer than a random link in a chat, less safe than official WhatsApp.
Three risks
- Suspension. Meta bans unofficial clients in waves. Temporary bans are common; permanent ones happen after repeats.
- Fake APKs. Especially under the Gold name. Check size (~125 MB) and permissions.
- Unaudited extras. Do not send banking codes through the mod.
Habits that help
Secondary number, weekly off phone backups, newest build only, no accessibility grants.
